I watched all the Marshall games this week and am standing by my comment. Not too many teams would have scored on Louisiana today.

Ok. But, you must agree, a lot of their swings were 8th gradeish. Especially the second to last hitter who struck out on three straight off-speed pitches.

You must not have watched the same game I did. They could have played 10 more innings and Marshall would not have scored. In order to be a regional team, you have to at least score a run. Most of their at-bats were some of the most inept I've seen in a very long time. The did not square up one ball and struck out 12 times.

I was much more impressed with their pitcher than anything they had offensively.

Marshall is definitely a better team than we all thought. They are a Regional caliber team, IMO.

The pitcher at least. I thought she’d be out of gas. Not at all.

Little #1 should have been tossed! After yelling in the umps face, she took forever to come out the dugout, cursed out the fans in center, then her dad got mad and went sit out there. They can’t handle a hostile environment.

Agreed, but in her defense, it was a terrible call.
