MAMOU - An undercover narcotics operation that began during the Mardi Gras holiday has resulted in the arrest of Mary Guillory, 39, owner of Players' Lounge in Mamou, and four other suspects were arrested.
Mamou Police raided the bar on Sixth Street on April Fool's Night. During the department's undercover operation, several narcotic purchases were made from the owner and several others in the establishment, police said
The department's investigation continued through the month of March, where Dick said more evidence was collected.
Guillory was charged with distribution of Schedule IV narcotics (adaband). Her bar was closed and her business license was pulled.
