The series of town hall meetings that began March 22 at locations throughout Lafayette Parish will continue tonight at the Scott Branch Library.
The theme of the town hall conversation is Lafayette Consolidated Charter: Is it working for you, why or why not?
Members of the public are encouraged to attend.
"These meetings are a result of conversations that I have had with constituents in collaboration with Councilmen
Don Bertrand, Keith Patin, and Kenneth Boudreaux. We all recognize there is a need in our community to discuss this issue, and so we are looking forward to hearing about our constituents' experiences with consolidation and questions about the future," said Joey Durel as he announced the series of meetings.
