Marler’s day one 87 was brutal.
9 strokes from 11th, a good team 3rd day and a bad day for the one or two teams ahead of UL, 10th is a long shot but is in play.
73 players have played both rounds so far.
Individual leaderboard.

So if Ortego was 3-under, the rest of the crew was 4-over today.
I know the numbers are not great, but very proud of the team. Specifically the two youngsters leading the way.
Malan Potgieter a freshman is sitting in 18th place overall with a -2 for the tournament. While Eli Ortego, a sophomore is sitting in 12th place overall with a -3. Matt Weber a Redshirt Sophomore is struggling a little more at +10, but is getting some great experience vs some of the best college golfers in the country. The other underclassmen is Jake Marler who is +18 for the tournament is a junior and Charlie Flynn a Senior is +8 for the tournament.
Regardless of the outcome, the team is in pretty good hands with Ortega and Potgieter for the next few years. If we can just get them some help, this team could be pretty good in the upcoming years.
Ortega carded a -3 yesterday with 4 birdies, 13 pars and only 1 bogie, while Potgieter had 4 birdies 11 pars and 2 bogies. Those are some pretty good rounds.
Yesterday was a much better day for the Cajuns than day 1. Weber had the worst round with a +5, while Marler and Flynn each carded a +3.
The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Men's Golf team placed two players in the top 20 and carded a team score of 1-under-287 to wrap up play on Wednesday at the 2023 NCAA Norman Men's Golf Regional on Monday at Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club.
Thanks for reppin’ UL guys.
Major move to get to the regionals and a couple of bright spots once there.
Earlier in the year I could not have imagined a better finish to Golf season.
Thanks guys.
