I can see a scenario where the SBC ends up a one bid league if the Cajuns win it.
The Cajun Ladies are going to win it.

(TOP16 RPI TO NOT HOST: 14 Texas)
If we stay 12 or below, would the poor record vs. top 25 outweigh the great record against top 50?
CDS just has me anticipating the Cajuns being the first team for the committee to send packing with that high an RPI.
Five teams ranked ahead of us in RPI have a losing record vs. 1-25 and three teams below us (11-16) have a losing record. Ours is worse than others but its a single metric. In the 26-50 range we are 12-2 which aligns with everyone else in the top 16 spots.
I'm just not seeing anything so devastating that it keeps us out of a host spot. (Note: Analysis is based off D1softball which doesn't necessarily align with NCAA stats exactly)
Texas kicks the 3rd out in the 7th and gets walked off by Baylor. Not sure if the bears are in the conversation, but they swept the 7 RPI longhorns.
Kentucky wins the series vs. Florida with a win just now.
Ole miss walks off Bama. I’m sure that helps too.
I thought venue was also a factor in hosting?
