The logo for CCU has been bothering me for awhile. This video, I think, sums up the problem, starting about 2:10:

Appears they just go by “Coastal” now. Which is their brand. I’m fine with it.

There is a major problem with the academic logo UL uses. Our official name is the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. However, our official logo says University of Louisiana Lafayette. Any wonder so many people call us Louisiana Lafayette.

UL e-News uses @LOUISIANA University of Louisiana at Lafayette e-News.

We can solve that and be consistent academically with our LOUISIANA athletic branding using the below logo saying LOUISIANA University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The bridges the athletic and academic gap and provides consistency in our reference.
