I think this trend will start to reverse in baseball. Even at the mlb level would you rather a Shane Bieber type or Tyler Glasnow who has amazing over the top stuff but needs TJ etc and misses time. What kind of pitcher is really more valuable to a team that wants to win.

I can't remember what I was listening to the other day but they had a good guess. Most D1 head coaches are after velocity. Many of the guys that can "pitch" are being overlooked and ending up at JUCOs or DII.

I see more velocity and less strikes pretty much everywhere. Northwestern had some max effort guy slinging 95 and not much of a clue where it was going.
