College Baseball Spending--2022

The Sun Belt was 11th in average spending on college baseball last year. When you consider it's the fifth rated conference, that's pretty good bang for the buck.

Naturally, the SEC was first with an average of 5.7 million (Vandy was the highest at over nine million, tops in the country.)

The average expenditure in the Sun Belt was 1.646 million. Coastal spent the most with 3.1 million. Coastal also has the highest percentage of their athletic budget spent on baseball of any team in America. (Cajuns were sixth highest at 13.1 percent.

The Cajuns (2.66) and Southern Miss (2.31) were the other teams with a budget of more than two million dollars.

ODU and JMU were the other two schools that spent over the average, while Marshall was close at 1.62 million.

Arkansas State was the lowest at 824K.
