    The law specifically states that the school's full name "University of Louisiana" cannot be used alone. That they must include a location clarifier in the initial description.

    So here’s the turd in the sandwich. UNO, a few years prior, changed their name from LSU-NO after joining the rest of the LSU rejects like every other 4 year ULS program except UL and Tech, the same exact way UL originally did.

    There are triple standards out there.

    When leaving LSU, ULM was allowed to change from a 2-year school to a 4-year school, without the proper legislative vote.
