Yes he did especially with pinch hitters, but still problems with a couple of steal calls.

That game was hard to watch. 7 errors between the two teams; hardly great softball. Luckily Texas State had 5 of the 7. Sam was outstanding and Megan was really good until the end when she let bad umpiring get in her head.

I visited several times with Jennifer Mullins' dad at this weekend's games, and we agreed that the umpiring in this league is atrocious. Blue detracts from every game and adversely affects both pitchers and hitters. Blue isn't biased, just incompetent.

Not just a Sun Belt issue. The college softball game has an umpiring issue, and as the game/athletes continue to get faster and better, the umpiring issue is going to grow larger.

Have to think part of the issue is not many people want to do it, and I don’t blame them. It’s not easy, pay is terrible at the levels they need to work to advance, and many people think we can do better and tell them so in childish ways.

I agree with all of this; but regardless of reason, the problem still exists and is not getting better.
