NATCHITOCHES, LA. – The fantastic outdoor season for the Louisiana track and field team continued on Saturday at the Leon Johnson Invitational in Natchitoches, Louisiana. The Cajuns won nine events and posted eight top 10 scores over the weekend.
Oliver Jack began the day with a second place finish in the men's hammer (50.08). Jacqueline Pokuaah followed with the first of her three podium finishes. The senior took home the gold in the long jump (6.26), tying the third longest jump in school history. Later in the day, in the triple jump she would post the second best score in school history with a jump of 12.86 meters for first place. She also took home second in the 100 hurdles with a time of 13.90 seconds
