As far as baseball goes I understand pushing it off. Everything that surrounds the game has to happen many hours in advance and if it cancels its just wasted money. Tomorrows weather is going to be great so good call from my perspective.

It’s completely different. If you start the game and the rain comes, in baseball, a delay will burn pitchers. That’s not the case in softball.

As it turned out they could have gotten the game in. But with a perfect weather forecast for tomorrow, why take that chance?

I remember the days when we didn’t play on Fridays at all and played a 9 and 7 inning double header every Saturday. Was that not baseball back then?
