The question I’m asking is, “can we win a regional with the way we are playing right now”?
I think we all know the answer.
With all those free passes, Louisiana should be leading the country in attendance.
Just sayin.
Welp…
Why was Hoddie batting in the 5 hole and Rocco in the 7th spot?
The beer guy got an AB and drew a walk.
Before the game last night on our group text, I mentioned the lineup being R/L/R/L all the way through was all well and good, but when that puts your 2 best hitters 5th and 7th…you’re probably overthinking it.
Hood and Brock combined for 5 of the 9 hits and 3 of the 5 extra base hits that the team got last night.
And prior to Max’s HR in the 9th, the top 3 spots in the order were 0-12 with 9 strikeouts.
It’s usually a good idea to have your best guys come to the plate the most…right?
Troy RPI = 38
Game 2 moved to a doubleheader on Sunday.
“Great” arms are controlled arms. Control comes with mechanics. Anyone with any knowledge watching can see that our pitching mechanics are non existent. What we need is a “real” pitching coach who can teach mechanics & then maybe our pitchers could control their “great” arms!!!
