“Great” arms are controlled arms. Control comes with mechanics. Anyone with any knowledge watching can see that our pitching mechanics are non existent. What we need is a “real” pitching coach who can teach mechanics & then maybe our pitchers could control their “great” arms!!!
Kind of aligns with my question of preparation in the bullpen. ST is in the dugout during the game. I can't be 100% certain because I'm not paying that close attention, but I believe the same is true prior to first pitch. What is going on in the bullpen? Who is getting these guys mentally prepared to pitch? Who's watching mechanics to correct prior to taking the mound?
Time to see what kind of grit our boys have. Let's bounce back and win this double header
