Nobody will sign MJ until he passes a physical and probably puts him thru drills.
It’s business.

Well he had a draft grade, so most likely more than one team did their due diligence and I'm just making a WAG, but he could had been signed for bare minimum, if their is a bare minimum amount to have rights to him. Then they wait for recovery. Also, I don't know the extent of his injuries and the prognosis for a full recovery. Of course that may be why a team that were looking at drafting him held back on a signing him.
That accident may have legit ended his chances of playing in nfl
He may fully recover and be in elite shape, but the window of opportunity is very narrow. Pray he has his degree or is close, that’s the most important thing after recovery from the injuries.
They are not the NFL but there are still 3 places you can get noticed
CFL
XFL
USFL
As well as a slew of Arena Leagues
Indoor Football League
United States Champions Indoor Football
United States National Arena League
United States Fan Controlled Football
United States American Indoor Football Alliance
The XFL sack leader just got signed by the Broncos.
Play hard, play good and you can still go places.
