Do not be fooled by the lofty rpi ranking and SOS. The Cajuns are 2-8 against the top 25 rpi and it has usually been necessary to have at least 3 top 25 rpi wins for the committee to award a regional hosting. The two non-conference games this week are critical to hosting. A win over either would be fine, but Baylor is the preferred win. And yes, 5-0 this week is the goal. Actually, 19-0 is the goal.

Michigan presently at #26 is another potential loss. But we also have Indiana (30), Ole Miss (31), and UCF (33) hanging near the Top 25 (three wins). Maybe one of them can move up ... and we get one of the road games this week. Even taking 2/3 from Texas State this weekend would likely see Texas State moving up a bit from #39. The Bobcats have an opportunity to snag a second win against Texas on Wednesday night in San Marcos.

I thought your 19 was regular season games left. You included 19 with the conference tournament. That's why I had 32-0 and not 29-0.
