Welcome back Dave! Spoke with him for the basketball tournament very briefly and he kinda hinted at this. I’m glad we are finally getting some guys who give a schitt about UL athletics back representing on local sports talk radio. It’s been far too long.

From what I gather, Dave is going to go in and do what he did at Delta. And that's run the show. People forget, when Dave took the reigns at 103.7, they had no market share here. He ended up beating 1420 in ratings at least once that I know of and had Delta in serious consideration for getting the UL contract. Ultimately it was an assets game and Delta didn't have the power, but to me, that makes it all the more impressive. With this amount of support, who knows what he can do.

I'm just happy we'll have a guy in there asking questions and listening to the people. Never forget, Farmer indirectly had Dave suspended for asking questions about the Tigue funding debacle. He had my respect before then, but the cemented it. Dave was and hopefully will be again, a disrupter in this WAY too cozy media market.

I need to correct one thing you said. Delta was never in serious consideration to get the Broadcasting contract.

I’m thrilled DS is coming back this way.

At the same time two things have not changed. First, 103.3 still does not have a strong signal, which has been noted by many RPCA members.

Second, DS will be working for TSM, which again, the RPCA has blasted for their spoon fed, don’t rock the boat approach.

Can’t do Jack about the first one, second one, I’d be totally surprise if the TSM SOP has changed. But it’s a win to have a pro UL program at drive time.
