    Yes indeed. There was barely any, if any academic support for athletes then. Started to change when Bustle took over and then Hudspeth really pushed for it and it changed the game.

    Hudspeth also pushed for altering SAT scores.

    Part of that was guys that Jesse brought in. Grades did not matter. If I remember correctly there was a question about Orien Green’s eligibility when he passed a class or 2 between Christmas and the spring semester to remain eligible.

    Johnson was not a transfer. He came from King high school in Chicago.

    It was most definitely the same program. I said tried because he got caught here but not at Ole Miss . At least not while it was going on
