Anthony Johnson was a very highly sought after transfer that came here. After he enrolled it took I think 2 years for him to get academically qualified. In an interview someone asked Kendall Regis about Anthony. Kendall said Anthony is like the Easter Bunny you hear a lot about him but never see him. From that day he got the nick name Easter bunny.

He was a great player but (as a season ticket holder back then) it seems we waited a long time to actually see him on the court. These days with all of the academic support and guidance available to athletes, a player like him may have seen the court sooner. I loved watching him play, when he finally did play.
