A runner on 3rd with one out scores about 50% of the time, and from 2nd base about 33% of the time. So you are 50% more likely to score from 3rd in that situation.

Now, not sure you attempt to get there via a steal, but definitely try to extend a double into a triple (if it makes sense) or go from 1st to 3rd on a single. That extra base is crucial with one out.

Do you have those percentages with just one out as opposed to two outs? I'm thinking you percentages are an all scenario breakdown.

I'm not sure it is either and that isn't working from hindsight. Willis isn't that gifted a runner and you have the top of the lineup at bat.

Yes Max is struggling, but if you believe in him as the one hole hitter, I just wouldn't steal there with CJ. Some of our faster players, i would be more aggressive with for sure.
