This year, Veilion hasn't been healthy all year and Max is in his head. I think it's that simple. Also, Max struggled with people coming for his job at Texas Tech. Could it be that it's happening again with Robie pressing for the leadoff job and ultimately winning it? It's possible to me.
I gave up for a while because I got tired of hearing myself whine, but I guess I'll go again.
Higgs needs to play for Veillion. Higgs also strikes out a lot, but also is OPSing over 1.000. The injury to Debo keeps Marusak in the lineup. With a healthy Debo, lets see what Lejeune can do every day at third and see if we can get his bat in a groove.

Outside of the stats on the board, Higgs not playing more when Will struggles is the most baffling thing about this team.

Is recruiting healthy players that big of a task? Everybody seems to be injured coming here. You use to worry about that on the pitching side of things but now its across the board

We have faced maybe 3 "dudes" on the mound this year (and two were in one game against Campbell) and have 11 games with double digit strikeouts. That's not gonna cut it.
I'm wondering if we play with a different strike zone than the umps.

LOL. Censorship is really becoming a "thing" on this board. Truth hurts sometimes I guess.

    3. I'm not super high on Willis as a player, I don't think he's an every day guy for us. That said, yes, he does play with a smile on his face. I do think he plays hard, and, he's played through injury for us since he got here.
I went back and watched the replay and stand corrected on the throw to first. Most everyone in our area believed that he was very non-chalant on the play in real time. He played it right and Rocco should have caught it.

I'll compromise to the point that he plays hard at times and that if it's injury related, I can understand. I along with several others have seen multiple instances where it looks like he is just going through the motions.

I was actually responding to one of your posts regarding issues with the team etc. Nothing bad. No personal attack or anything like that. Basically addressed hitting, pitching, SOS, series coming up etc. Nothing terrible at all. Just honest stuff.

Last year, his second base defense was beyond abysmal, and it did look like he wasn't even trying. This year, his first base defense has been great, and his second base defense, while not good, is much improved. Last year I was in your same boat, this year I have come around to thinking it's more of a lack of ability than a lack of effort on defense. He just doesn't have the range to play anywhere besides 1B. Also I moved out of town, so I see a lot more detail/angles on ESPN+ than I did in the first base bleachers.

Maybe because we try to hit it to Drug Emporium every at bat.

Your post was fine. Your words are 100% intact. I removed the part where you quoted Matt because you have a tendancy of sparking him needlessly.

Your post was never removed nor were your words edited.
