Someone asked who this team had to beat to satisfy the doubters. I didn’t say App st because they should be a given at home.
Signed,
Still a doubter

We lost this game in the 1st inning with that error.
We just ran into another really really good arm that kept us off balance. We are a 4-5 bid league. Dont sweat the small stuff. Baseball happens.
That was Deggs last year. Cajuns had to win the tournament, RPI wasn’t good enough going into the tournament.
Otherwise UL would be headed to a 7th year since last appearance. As it is, 6 years was the longest drought since first making the tournament in the late 80’s.

I keep thinking back to Jay’s post just before the season that got me excited about this year’s team. I was hoping Cajuns baseball was back. We still have time, but I’m not optimistic. We don’t seem to have IT.
All teams go thru something over the course of a season. This one is a head scratcher for me. I mean not having Debarge is a big deal, but is it really? Plenty enough talent to fill in the loss of production from an offensive standpoint. Even if it comes from more than one guy. Idk what bandaid we have been covering all this up with but its sure ripped wide open now. Its past time to figure it out
Alright time to start another win streak today.
Actually that sounds like around 250 basketball coaches as 23 of the 32 conferences were one bid leagues this year. That is actually 1 less than I predicted would be. Baseball is a different animal. Still time to earn at large. It is a sport in which it is difficult to assign any particular game as a must win. Today’s contest comes close to being one however.
I would like to thank whoever put up the umbrellas at the top of Section A. Provided nice shade for those of us who reside at the top.
Let’s win today.
