I actually don’t think Blue was all that bad. We just didn’t attack the zone.

Does anyone else absolutely hate watching CJ Willis with a take sign on, dropping his bat and standing there while the pitcher is still in his windup? To me it’s begging the umpire to call a strike to spite your arrogant azz. Get a grip Willis. His body language might be the worst I’ve ever seen in a Cajun uniform. Get up there and act like a professional. Or better yet, just worry about getting on base rather than showboating.

18 strike outs tells me that we made zero effort to make an adjustment at the plate. Im sorry, Braveheart was not that good. No better than anything else we have faced up to this point. After about the 8th or 9th strike out, i think id of changed our approach. Hell, start bunting for a base hit and creating chaos that way. I commented it looked like we were sleepwalking out there. This team(cajuns) can pour it on big from time to time, but this is the second or third time this year we didnt look like we competed well and thats uncharacteristic of this team in my opinion. Its hard to bring it every single night but its also what makes teams great. It all starts on the bump and it may be time to slide Jackson into the Friday slot based on how he performs today. Tate was outstanding and the reason we still had a chance in the 9th to win.

In yesterday's softball game, after a period of stagnation, Glasco called for bunts, he took a lot of heat because it was apparently for no reason.

Sometimes you do things for no apparent reason just to get the pitcher out of their rhythm.

It’s not just CJ. A majority of the team does that during a take. I can only imagine it’s to throw the pitcher off…but to me it’s in bad taste. This is the first year I’ve seen it so I’m assuming it’s coming from Deggs.
