And would say that if Graeter hadn't suffered her knee injury, she would be in this conversation. She was seeing the ball better than any Cajun hitter in the fall and had the hottest stick imo before getting injured. Why she didn't have surgery and take a medical red-shirt simply confuses me.

In pro fastpitch? Absolutely, in some instances. Do you have any idea how small some of these staffs are? In some instances, the owner is the general manager. Depending on which team is playing which, I wouldn't be surprised to see the GM override the coach in picking a pitching starter for a particular game if he thinks it could generate more interest and create more ticket sales.

When I stated this about Graeter on this site a few folks said I was crazy and didn't know what I was talking about. Thanks for clarity and seeing what I saw. As always anything Mark says I agree with.

I noticed Sam Graeter was a courtesy runner last night. To be honest, I haven't been tracking her this year, but, if she ran (with a brace on), she may be just about ready to resume full itme duties?

And then she bats in the 3rd and hits a first pitch line drive double. She is looking pretty good. While batting she did not wear the knee brace.

Hey Moore, that was Credeur with the line drive double, not Graeter. Sam has been back since early in the season, just hasn't had much playing time.
