Thread: MLB OPENING DAY

    UL Baseball MLB OPENING DAY

As many of you already know, I'm a die hard Astros fan. Who's your team?

What your surprising prediction for the season?

And in case anyone needs to be reminded of how last season ended, just remember this phrase..... REMEMBER, REMEMBER, THE 5TH OF NOVEMBER!

I grew up on Bagwell & Biggio. I was always partial to the pitchers though. Billy Wagner was my guy!

I'm not a Yankees fan but they are due this year. Altuve going down at the WBC was not a good way to start the year for Houston.

Is Volpe Jeter 2.0? Philly vs Yanks in the World Series.

    Astros!

Grew up listening to Jimmy Wynn, Larry Dierker, BobWatson, and others!

But I am also a Red Sox fan, so it is tough when they play each other! We lived there and got to see Dwight Evans, Roger Clemons, Wade Boggs, Jim Rice, etc.

Rusty Staub, Cesar Cedeneo, Jimmy Wynn is where I started. Still regret J.R. Richard as I think he would have been a HOFer.

We are due for sure. Volpe is the real deal. I don't know if he's Jeter 2.0 (yet). Time will tell but too early to call it (for me at least).

Life long fan of the World Series Champion Houston Astros. Attended my first game at the Astrodome against the Pirates in 1973 when I was a young child. Last year was awesome and hoping for similar results this year.
