Right now, this team isn’t a Super Regional team. The position talent is there, but not the maturity. Pitching wise we are still too inconsistent. Schorman is reliable but no others are. Still have time to get there, but definitely aren’t there yet?

What do you mean by the maturity isn't there? I think the girls are mature but the pitching has definitely been inconsistent.

Talk of wanting to go to the WCWS happens every single year. And “this is the year” blah blah. Hasn’t happened since 2014. Glasco has had the reigns for 6 years now and it’s the same, inconsistency with the team every single season. Either the pitching is inconsistent or the bats are sleepy and we can’t make it out of a regional final. It’s so old at this point - wake me up when we get past a regional.

Unless some things change, am afraid we will not make it out of a regional, again. For starters, we will see if Glasco stops the musical chairs with the lineup as he said after the brutal RPI loss yesterday.

1. Musical chair lineup.
2. Batting basically 3 slappers in a row 9,1,2 holes.
3. Trying to bunt to much.
4. A great defensive outfielder on the bench in a late inning tied game.
5. Two different coaches calling pitches for Sam.

No. 5 is part of the answer you ask why I hate our pitch calling. Kandra never looks comfortable with the pitches called. She throws a strike then we always go away from her strength and try the right corner until she falls behind then we serve up the HR ball or walk the batter.

I agree with you, Glasco has done nothing to better the program from where we have always been. Heck we might have regressed a little. And please wait for the we're a young team. We should not be rebuilding in year six. I give up.
