1 ball 2 strike count with 2 outs produced a triple off the wall scoring 2 runs. If we finish that one hitter off we are not talking about the same kinda results at the end of the game.

I can make this exact same argument in reverse for about 6 of our wins.

The point is, our offense has to be exemplary to win games with how inconsistent our defense and pitching is right now. And it’s a lot harder to hit well consistently than it is to pitch and play defense consistently.

I agree. Especially with South Al's RPI and being where it is and them not having the success we are used to seeing. But winning a series on the road is still a good thing.

It is. But even better result when you sweep a team that you should sweep. Anything less than a sweep this weekend is a disappointment. Huge rpi hit.
