    Has to be thru collectives

Can only think of one and that was Jamal Bell in football.

Wasn’t it two years ago they had more players in the portal than the total number of D1 starting positions? 1,755 starting slots out there today.

Unless your program has a NIL collective with deep pockets, “relationships” cannot compete with 50k offers.

I’m sure stAte fans have watched Miami the past week and “talked” to the television. They were in no position to bid on Omar, bad coach or not.

Until the NCAA passes legislation limiting free for all multiple transfers (and survive court challenges) this is the new norm.

This is the biggest blow non power conferences MBB has taken since the arrival of ESPN.

College athletics’ slow suicide is a thing to behold.

Marlin would be a great fit at ULM hahahaha

Bingo. It's a lot harder to care, invest, and engage when you can't follow the development of a kid and don't know who will be there one year to another.

It is to the point now where it doesn't pay to red shirt anyone because you never know what your team will look like next year anyway.

100%. As a casual MBB fan that dialed in and bought in as the season progressed...to then find out the starting PG is in the transfer portal. How are you going to get fans to buy in when players are trying to buy out?

Unfortunately Louisiana can't take a preseason trip to the Caribbean for four more years.
