NMSU, abet a train wreck, has gotten so far behind the 8 ball, I won’t be surprised they don’t field a team next year.

I was under the impression that the basketball year that just ended was Marlins last. Am I wrong, please inform me?

His contract ended. I presume a new contract will be written up and agreed to very soon. If he was not returning, we would have heard it by now. He is not ready to retire yet.

Be careful, being too critical can result in deleted posts.

Has anyone else notice that Patrick Ewing was fired at Georgetown?

Yup. Homeboys fail more often than succeed.

My goodness, he sucked as Georgetown’s coach.

His 4th year, Georgetown blind squirrel an 8th place finish to win the conference tournament.

    8th, 3rd, 8th, 8th, 11th, 11th. 11 team conference.

The Sam Houston coach named Hooten is taking the NMSU job. He has been head guy at Sam Houston since Coach Marlin took job here. Both Sam Houston and NMSU will be in CUSA next season. Of course New Mexico State likely pays significantly more than Sam Houston does.

13 years, two NITs, 4 pay for play.

SHSU board was an interesting read. It’s all over the place.
