The cool side of the madness is you get to see awesome moments, like Ben coming in and getting 2 hits in two at-bats. So at the very least, Cajuns games aren't boring. And at the end of the day, that's a good thing.

He had a disaster outing. It happens.

But discounting a 14-5 record, 5 saves, all conference accolades, and beating Georgia in a regional is a bit more of an indicator of the guys ability.

Im watching the game on demand. I listened to it live. One or two timely hits would of made this game a little different. So many swing and misses on fastballs.

Stuff or not, they didn’t impress me outside of Dome. Not a single arm they brought out was dominate. We just didn’t execute well per usual.

Still time to get it fixed as StAte isn’t a world beater but there was nothing to write home about in Starkville that I saw.

overall lots of nice people MGM is a great venue, tasty beer, the wind was blowing right off of the gulf so there was not going to be any home runs last night and that field plays big since it is a minor league stadium. Also the last pitcher that MS brought in was throwing high 90's with control. It was a fun game and there were plenty of UL fans there

He has gotten a few inning breaks, but I agree he needs to get some time off. I am not sure why we did not start Clay Wargo vs Jackson State and I would do the same vs Grambling next week.

I'm curious as to why different guys weren't given the start against JSU instead of last night. Maybe a loss to JSU is perceived to be a bigger deal than a win against Moo St?

Deggs spends too much time and effort “sending messages” and playing musical chairs with the lineup for me. That being said, I am typing on a
message board and he is a D1 coach.

His system works it is sometimes very head scratching and frustrating.
