Mike I went into a little bit of detail on RR if you wanna give it a listen. They are a VERY physical team. They bullied Texas and Alabama around but they were both played at home with Ziegler still healthy. The NCAA tournament is a different animal. They lost back to back games against vandy and mizzou on last second shots. Seemed to have broke their spirit a little bit. We don’t have to play perfect but we limit silly mistakes, turnovers and make free throws we will be there in the end. Contain vescovi and key and do the things I said before we will win. Geaux Cajuns.

Edited to add: they had the top defense in the nation cause at one time teams were struggling to score 50 against them. It will be a war.

I have been researching them as well for the next episode of the We’re Talkin podcast. I did watch them a couple of times during the season but only for a few minutes each. I did look at several of their highlights from recent games on their website. They do have an experienced team with several seniors playing the majority of the minutes. Their 2 top guys are both international players. Loss of Zeigler did hurt them but they have a lot of depth. Note game is on CBS at 8:40 PM Central on Thursday.
