Seems like Bob is always having to be restrained on the sidelines.

Perhaps he should be better than that…

His team played their asses off, that’s a HUGE positive for any coach in any sport.

His team, which was a top 20 in the country 3 point shooting team, had 6 wide open looks at 3 point shots in the first half tonight. And missed every one of them.

They played their butts off defensively, which is another sign of a well coached basketball team.

Fans always clamor for “halftime adjustments”. The Cajuns tonight looked like a completely different team in the second half and turned a blowout into a one possession game with less than 30 seconds to play.

Your two best 3 shooters combined to go 0-7 from the field and 0-2 from the FT line and you lost a game by 3 points to a team that spent some time ranked #1 in the country.

Think whatever you want about Bob Marlin, but thinking or saying that he was any part of a problem tonight is completely ridiculous.
    Myopic much?

The fact that Maggard is gonna keep this clown is an absolute joke. He has beaten No One in 13 years. Lets give him another $600K because we suck at firing coaches around here. Some of you are so worried about what we are called by name when your concern should really be hiring some head coaches that can actually win in a few sports.

I can't stand the egos of some refs. The game is emotional. If that's all Marlin said, the technical was ridiculous.

Thanks, I had no idea what was going on.

Saying anything to an opposing player while being restrained by your staff/players is going to result in a tech. As stated earlier, be better.

Greg Williams was obviously more injured than they let on. That guy was a glue guy all year and he was on the bench when we needed him the most.

Garnett obviously had some sort of confidence issue as he air balled more threes than he made the last 4 or 5 games or so. Again, could have used him getting hot.

You have either of those guys show up to combine with Julien and things could have been different.

Speaking of myopic…their altar boy got rung up first.

Reportedly the player apologized to Marlin post game. Bob stated he voted for the guy to be on the AA team

Y’all have a great day of vitriol.

UL isn’t going to can a guy that just made the NCAA Tournament. And when the time comes, some will hate the new guy too.

    Carry on.

Who was the poster that was adamant he was 100% sure Marlin was going to resign in the middle of last season?

Are we cool with being the SBC Champion every year? What's the goal?

It we are trying to become a Butler, Gonzaga, Houston, Memphis, or Creighton type program, we need a new vision and leader.

Marlin has become stale. UL is not a destination job. We should expect to have a new young vibrant coach every 4-5 years.

Difficult game to watch last night. First half was excruciating. Then, to come up so close to moving to the next round.

As far as next year, to get me to renew season tickets, I want to see some moves with personnel. Not coaching, players. I want to see what we do to replace the guys leaving and even go to the extent of not renewing players that can be replaced with more talented players. Doing this will determine my level of support going forward.
