I’m scared of how our guys are going to react when we are in the road and their batting averages are up on a board
I normally roll with the punches and most things don’t bother me. When I first noticed the scoreboard, I thought they didn’t upload the stats, so I used my phone. When I heard that they’re doing it as a form of bonding, I was like ok, I can see that. Whatever floats their boat. But the more I think about it, I’m feeling concerned for these guys. How are they going to react on the road? Are they going to become lackadaisical if they have a nice .avg or will they press if it’s not so good? If they get distracted that easily by some numbers, should they put black tape over the speedometers in their vehicles? They probably shouldn’t look at their bank accounts either. Obviously, I’m being a bit facetious, but I never mentioned anything about Armageddon.
What if they make it to Omaha?
Will they request the CWS not to show their stats?
