It’s a suicide squeeze. Putting it in play is all that matters

It didn’t work because the second runner doesn’t have great speed and their 1st baseman made a good play.

In college, the 1/3 is a fairly good barometer. But a lot of teams won’t lose 1/3 of their games. And of course, many won’t win 1/3
