Joe Charles Dad is leader of group and promotes entire university on social media. 3) Getting a high seed from good regular season was a factor as both semi final and finals opponents faltered late. 4) The move to insure bench had significant minutes in late regular season games was made with tournament in mind and it paid off as guys like Jalen Dalcourt on offense and Joe Charles on defense were ready for moment. Craig and I will give our usual analytical breakdown of the tournament in a We’re Talkin podcast tomorrow.
The team spends most of the year together, don’t they? Is that enough to build team chemistry?

Just because they took a trip doesn’t mean it led to a championship. What about the fact that this was one of his most talented teams?

your argument is a causal fallacy.

With that being said, I’m happy we won.

Why do THEY say it contributed to success then. The extra 10 days of practice and experience of 3 games in 3 days were also positives of trip

Chemistry on this team is really special. This team truly carry a respect for one another. We have not heard any player this year speak of “me” without including “we”. The only sport close to this is the NHL where guys tend to praise teammates in victory and only name themselves in loss.

Credit to Marlin and the administration from bringing in young coaches with experience with successful college programs. The process worked.

I've never seen anything close to the chemistry this team has. And humble.

    Let's Geaux.

I’m talking about winning the championship, not subjective positives.

What was the trip we had to take to pay for it?

Using the money to bring in a quality team would help me answer your question better.

Did they cut down the undefeated nets of the the Cajun Dome?

I echo what has been said here. JB is very humble and willing to share, both the credit and the basketball. Lewis was great compliment to Brown and definitely has a passion for the game. I called him the "trash man" this year because he always seemed to be around when a shot was missed to tip it in. What a find he was! To me, Fulks was a big key this year as we have rarely had a true PG who was as quick as he is. What can you say about the local guys on the team? Dalcourt, Williams, Julien, Thomas, and Charles gave the team a "Louisiana Flavor" that endeared a lot of people. (not to mention they can shoot) We need to continue to keep the local talent in the Cajun Dome. Wouldn't it have been great to have Williams for 5 years?

Anyway, kudos to this team. They are one of the most complete teams in recent Cajun history, at least 1-10. I hope Daboot is right.

As I said, I would expect results of extra practice days on the front end of the season, not the back end.

I'm not doubting they enjoyed the trip.

I am surprised more wasn't made earlier of the chase for 1000/500

This thread sure is starting to sound like the football training camp discussion about team chemistry.
