Probably since there’s no real QB competition, and our local news stations bragging about covering wbb across da basin.

But is it really their job to promote the team if the University and the Coach are not out there hyping the game. It's a sad, sad time to be a Cajun football fan especially when its season ticket renewal time.

We haven’t had a promoter since Hud. Napier wasn’t as rah-rah as Hud, and Des is less rah-rah than Napier. Not faulting these two coaches, it’s just not in their personality wheel house.

At the same time, the objective was to hire a football coach, not a cheerleader.

I can understand that but if not the Coach then whom is supposed to hype up HIS team. Hud made me want to buy tickets and he started this build up of the program. Yes it ran it course but he started it all.

In years past there were single and sometimes double updates "daily" from the Athletic department.

This year I've only seen a couple (early on) unless I'm searching in the wrong place.

The fact that you have to search for content is the problem. They should be engaging fans, but they are not interested in publicizing their mediocre product.

I guess the HUD era proved that unless the coach does it, it simply won't get done. The ineptitude and apathy from this University is frkn staggering. Makes me sick.
