According to Coach Dez, the affair on April 6th will be more of a scrimmage than an actual game. Apparently the QB situation is part of the reasoning behind that decision. Last year, the OL issues were why an actual game did not occur. That is not a problem this year. Troy Wingerter was on radio this morning promoting the event. One point he had involved Weather. If weather is poor, the scrimmage will occur in the Indoor Practice Facility.
My nephew is going to be a junior QB next year at a high school in Georgia he wants to attend what we thought was a spring game since he'll be on spring break. He is a Ragin Cajun at heart and a right-hand Levi (in the making) he won the starting job as a soph before getting hurt. We visit Cajun Field every time he visits Louisiana.
Is it just me or does anyone feel there has been even less buzz about spring football this year. Spring "game" is in 2 days and yet crickets
Probably since there’s no real QB competition, and our local news stations bragging about covering wbb across da basin.
