Gotta put the ball in play with RISP late in game. Too many strikeouts.

Yuhasz struck out twice with tying runners on 2nd and 3rd in the late innings. He also let that foul ball drop for no good reason in the 9th. That dude clearly doesn’t have any gonads. He had an RBI early but in the end he shat the bed.
This team has so much potential. But, we should’ve had Veillon and Marusak in the lineup today. Sitting your “DUDES” does NOTHING to help our losing streak. Dumb moves by Deggs. I said what I said.
Chill out on attacking a freshman making his first start. No need for that.
I also have no problem with sitting guys for a day who aren’t getting it done. Shows the rest of your team you don’t care who they are. We sure hit it better today than we did last night. Seemed to work if you ask me
Those “dudes” are hitting .167 and .100 through 9 games. Maybe a day off will do them good. Hit the reset button
Yea I shouldn’t attack Yuhasz for the K’s I guess. But letting that ball drop in foul territory is “fair game” to attack. He needs to know that’s not Cajun Baseball. You give it your all or you sit the bench. I’m sorry but I’ve watched way too many OF’s let balls drop within diving distance this young season to give him a pass. That’s just plain weak minded individuals. Grow a pair, you’re playing D1 baseball. Show up or go home.
With regards to the new lineup, I get it somewhat. But Marusak will get it going sooner rather than later and he brings many tools besides just typical base hits, he can get on via bunt with ferocity. He works counts too historically. Veillon needs 4 at bats a game to give us that 1 bomb or clutch double. That’s just who he is. Let it play out.
I just disagree with running out 3 brand new players with your bottom half lineup in a Saturday must-win game.
Regardless of what some fans may think, this is must-win baseball vs Campbell. They are a regional team and losing 2-3 or God forbid getting swept will be a major knock on our resume come postseason seeding time.
I’ve been watching for far too long to act like this weekend isn’t big. The newbies to the fan base don’t understand how big this series is.
Welcome to college baseball. Your mommy isn’t bringing you a Gatorade for just getting a start. Play hard. Play tough. That’s all we ask as fans.
If you’re offended by this as a fan, I really don’t care. I expect Cajuns baseball to be hard nosed and gritty. Haven’t seen it yet this season other than a few offensive spurts. The defense has made the routine plays, but far too many balls are not being attacked on defense. I don’t care if the turf is harder than real grass, make a ______ing play or go back to high school.
I should add, the only reason I’m saying all this is because Deggs himself expects Omaha. And I’m sorry to say, but we won’t get to Omaha _____-footing around the outfield. Make a play.
Anything else?
