The No. 24-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball team scored early and late to top McNeese 7-1 to start off play in the Longhorn Invitational on Friday, March 3 at McCombs Field in Austin, Texas, but settled for a split after No. 11 Texas rallied in the middle innings for a 6-2 win.
