True, one old thing that can trigger a few folks, but instead of Beetle Juice x3 say Bob Marlin x3.

Laugh all you want and keep bleeding fans. I want to watch games. I can do that from the patio. I’m not alone in the feeling as displayed by the empty seats in all sports. Peace.

This is the second time you make the threat about staying home. Just do it then

It’s just funny how many on this site just can’t understand why our fan base hasn’t grown and in fact shrunk over the years. Simple things like this can help and you turn around and say don’t come. Alcohol is one thing. I get it, but there is no reasonable explanation to shut down concessions until at least the bottom of the 9th. And that should just be getting started with shut down. What if we tied it up and went extra innings? I worked in the restaurant business and we started breaking down 30 minutes before close, but if someone walked in 5 minutes til, they were getting served. It’s called good business.

I’ll be going to the game today and tomorrow like I have for my entire life, but simple things like this just make it seem like those in charge don’t really care.

I heard they knew you were coming down for the dippity dots and pretended to be closed. And as soon as you went back to your seat, they reopened and sold everything they had left. A crowd then appeared and began laughing hysterically at you. You should sue them bro! This has crossed the line! NO JUSTICE! NO PEACE!

It's times like this I wish I had the technical abilities to turn the Allen Iverson clip about practice to ice cream. "We talk n bout ice cream!?"

Dads probably mad because his kids had been asking for dipping dots for the entire game and he kept telling them, “later”. Finally when they wouldn’t relent, dad begrudgingly gets up, goes to the DD stand and sees they’re closed. Now he’s p!$$’t and has to go face his kids who are now mad at him cause he promised! Hahaha, every dad has done similar at some point. Why early closing of concessions can cause some to think the event “experience” suffers I don’t know. I just never went to events for the concessions. The title actually made me want to open the thread because I thought maybe UL’s closer was named Dip N Dots!

With less beer and more coffee in my system, I’ll admit that yes, _____ing about ice cream is a bit ridiculous. And yes, the previous poster is right, I pushed them off with the expectation that we’d get what they wanted after the 7th inning stretch. It’s not going to keep me, specifically, home, but the point I was trying to make is that it’s a simple thing that could turn off a potential customer.
