    Some posters would run to ragin pagin and start a ____ thread everytime a caller to KPEL would say something controversial or even say something stupid or even if they didn't like they way they talked. At least now there are no local opinions on the radio to start threads over.

    The flip side of that is the fact that there's barely any Cajuns coverage now.

    TS Lafayette had lost 4 on air folks, two of them with 30 ish years on the air. All resigned 3 within the last week or so...

    Caught them for 10 minutes this AM. Was talking basketball, but actually not NBA. UL WBB…in the typical TSM way.

    Who resigned? I haven't tuned in within the last week.

    From everything I understand, the 2 30ish year vets resigned, the other was moved to sales...and of course Prather went to work for parish or city recreation after resigning...

    Sad day seeing local programming disappear. That was the reason they allowed so many low power stations. To provide local radio for the locals, not corporate conglomerates.
