I do not know the exact story, but he did pick some of the walk-up music.

We were at Georgia State a couple of years ago, and the upperclassman would pick the songs for the freshmen. One of the songs was Wham's Careless Whispers.

Maybe. But that song is lame. Not exactly a song that fires you up to watch a baseball game. Feels more like my great grandfather is about to bust out the old pictures of "back when he use to play the game". I immediately smell mothballs when it comes on.
