Found out last night that this is indeed the case. The coaches don't want stats being displayed.

Honestly, I take that as a red flag. Are your players so distracted, they can't overcome numbers on a screen? Those stats are for the fans and the program paid a pretty penny to be able to display that information for the home crowd. Not to mention, it looks cut rate af.

I don't mind it. They may be limited as to what the scoreboard software can accept as values, but would be better if they displayed something other than 0.00, etc. so that it didn't look cut rate.

Deggs is all about the "pack" and not the individual. Would be cool if they displayed the "pack" averages. To me that would make players want to execute at the plate for the team and not worry about their own BA.

Almost everyone has a phone at the games. If they don't want to post it and you really want to know someone's batting average, you can always go to ragincajuns.com on your phone. Stats are there.

    Of course that's your answer.

And the live stats have been down on RaginCajuns.com. So no, they can't.

But what happens if the Ragin’ Cajuns site is down like it was last night?

Why should we have to when there is a video board that used to do it, and still does it for an opponent.

And the speakers still are not working properly. Go figure, why am I contributing to support athletics if they can't even get this done, bush league.

And the lack of attention to detail continues...must be a MH issue, that work order is sitting on someone's desk to be finished as soon as the season finishes..

The players found out the stats were on Ragin Cajuns.com so instead of removing the Super secret phone from the dugout, Deggs had the whole site taken down.

No stat viewing means no stat viewing!!!

Are we really that soft that we can’t handle looking at our own batting averages? I thought we were supposed to be creating hard-nosed, water hose, alpha dogs. Why are our hitters even watching the scoreboard when they’re at the plate anyway?

Fix the speakers, fix the stats. Other than that, last night was my first game at the Tigue in 6 years, and I had a very enjoyable time
