I think outside of center, the cajuns have the deepest bench in the league. I'm hoping that pays off in the tournament

Congratulations to Louisiana basketball. What a regular season! This team seems to just have some really outstanding young men.

I also thought MT had the best game of his career; at least the best I have seen. He picked up a lot of the slack win JB was missing free throws. A real team win.

Now let's go get those 3 in March!

    GEAUX CAJUNS!

I think Thomas stayed in game late simply because Thomas was playing well. While Fulks has improved his free throw shooting, statistically Thomas is better from line. With the Jags in foul mode, better to go with the stronger guy in that regard.

I think the 1983 team was the last to go undefeated at home. If I am correct on that point, that means this is the first Cajun team in 40 years to accomplish such a feat. The team plAyed in Blackham back in 83. The Bo Lamar team of the early 70’s did it a couple of times.

And what’s the common item from that ‘83 team to this one?

Absolutely. MT had his best game in a while. He played under control and made some plays down the stretch. Fulks was playing well but MT had the hot hand and I commend Marlin for keeping him in and riding that play.
