This athletic department is being passive aggressive towards Martin Hall and misdirecting their anger towards the fans. Fans do have concerns as well documented here. When I’ve questioned them in the past year, I’ve been told it’s not my fault. Well it’s not my fault as the fan. Customer service is lacking and is needed to build fan support and grow the RCAF.
Of course it will be implemented by noon ... still have half an hour guys.
I don't know why everyone is being so hard on them, they take their job very seriously. The first thing they do when they wake up (even before the coffee) is see if there is a game to prepare for that day.
Mais. We broke ! Too much money to spend to promote a game but I did see a tweet I think.
The news of the S. Alabama game being picked up by ESPN has been out for almost a week on local TV, News Paper and the Athletic website. If people are going, there has been plenty of time to make plans. Optics is not a concern, or so I've been told when we play football on weeknights because of the opportunity to play in front of a national audience. You don't change game times for baseball on the day of the game unless it's weather related. Too many people do not get off of work until after 5pm.
I heard they actually planned on getting the word out early with some good old fashion smoke signals, but we've had too much wind this week. They went to plan B, which has stationing an employee at each respective venue (Cajun Dome and Tigue Moore) and scream as loud as they could the date and times (did it at noon because most people are on lunch break...better coverage) What more do you people want? No point in trying with some of you, I swear.
