Yes ... very happy to see outstanding outings from both. BYU can knock it around the yard ... 46 hits and 4 HR vs. La Tech this past week in four games. Cajun pitching will need to continue throwing strikes in this series.

The next three starters the Cajuns will be facing yielded a combined 2 Earned Runs and 5 Hits over 16.2 innings against Tech. Tomorrow night's starter for the Cougars, Jack Sterner, was 4-4 with a 3.18 ERA over 73.2 innings in 2022 ... and went 7 innings in the season opener vs. Tech, yielding one hit and one run ... walking 0 (one HBP) and striking out 3.

Cajuns, bring your bats and throw strikes.

Sitting here at the Tigue watching the Cajuns and BYU fight it out on the Diamond and trying to figure out what is slightly different about the atmosphere. It has two be the fact that the sound system seems to be less clear than in the past and the music between innings leaves much to be desired. Let’s get this fixed immediately!!!!!
