Unfortunate that WBB and MBB have to compete with the baseball home opener tonight but that could not be helped. For those going to basketball, there is one change to the previous double header policy which I believe is a positive. Everyone attending the women's game at 5 will be given a ticket to the Men's game as soon as they walk in. Arena will not be cleared when the first game concludes. At that point, MBB ticket holders can go to their normal seats and folks who went to the WBB game should go to the seat on the ticket given to them when they arrived. The start of the men's game should be around 7:30. I did see something in the Acadiana Advocate stating a 7:45 start time. I think the 7:30 time is more accurate. ESPN+ stream will cover both games. At this point, the conference agreement with ESPN prioritizes basketball over baseball so you should be able to watch at home. I think baseball is streamed tomorrow night. Men can clinch a double bye in the conference tournament by beating Ark. State tonight. Due to Mardi Gras travels, Craig and I were not able to record our weekly podcast until this afternoon. It should be posted shortly. Hopefully we provide insight you may have missed in evaluating the two games last week and something for you to notice in the upcoming games.
