  1. UL Golf Potgieter's Top-20 Finish Leads Louisiana at Bayou City Collegiate Classic



    Freshman Malan Potgieter shot a 1-under-par 71 to record his third top-20 finish of the season and Matt Weber equaled his best 54-hole score total as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Golf team wrapped up play on Tuesday at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic at the Westwood Golf Club.

    This is the same story every year. We finish at the bottom of just about every tournament and focus on one guy doing well. There is no accountability for lack of success.

    How about every tournament.

    I don't blame the department writers for trying to find any positive they can, though I do question the administration for buying into the headlines.
