The No. 22-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball concludes its seven-game road in the state of Florida with a Mardi Gras day visit to No. 20 UCF. The matchup with the Knights is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. (CST) from the UCF Softball Complex.

The Ragin' Cajuns (5-5) and Knights (5-5) tilt comes just two days after both teams finished off a rigorous slate of games at the TaxAct Clearwater Invitational at the Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater, Florida.

This is a must win. Partially because I am here for the game. Mostly for the reasons you give.

Considering preseason rankings which so far, have held true. . . . The teams that were supposed to win, won.

This is Louisiana's closest matchup to date#20 vs #22.

This should be Louisiana's best chance at an upset before coming home.

This is a must win, going 0-4 against the top teams is not good though, needed to play all four of them tough, and maybe steal one. But instead got blown out in two, and had to make major comebacks in the other two just to make it close. As of today we won't even be in the top 25, so a win this evening against a good and ranked UCF and a sweep of LSU this weekend would get us back in the top 20. need to change the momentum and mindset tonight and take it into next weekends games.

Actually the UCLA game was close the entire game and lost the lead in the 7th. Winning that game would have been a good feeling even with the other losses.
