Able to secure the win. ULM Center, Merriweather nearly had a triple double with 9 points, 23 rebounds, and 10 blocks. They must really have no supporting cast if they are 7-19 with that kind of player

Louisiana women's basketball claimed its 18th-straight victory over ULM on Thursday as the Ragin' Cajuns topped the Warhawks, 57-46, inside the Fant-Ewing Coliseum.

The Cajun women have a huge game Saturday afternoon at 4:30. They take on Arkansas State.
The Cajuns are only 1 game out of 1st place, but it is a dogfight in the women's standings. Theoretically their are 7 teams really fighting for the top 4 spots.
JMU, ODU and Troy are all 11-4
UL, Texas State and USM are all 10-5
Georgia Southern is 9-6
UL faces a bottom feeder in Arkansas State who is 9-17 on the season and 4-12 in the conference. We will get some help from the following.
2 of the teams at the top face each other with ODU and JMU facing off, meaning UL will be tied with one of those teams with a win.
Just like the men, the women are fighting for a top 4 seeding so that they can have a bye to the quarterfinals, as of right now they would be tied with 2 other teams for the 4th spot, they need to win and get some help.
How cool would it be if both the men and the women both had bye's in the first two rounds of the conference tournament.
